Hi. I’m Kendra.
A question that I can’t answer: “What is the most off-brand thing about you?”
I’m endlessly curious and a big fan of *Fun Facts,* I know a little about A LOT and am not ashamed to tell you I am as equally interested in dissecting personalities on Love is Blind as I am hyper analyzing the relationship dynamic of Édouard Manet and Edgar Degas (ask me about my powerpoint on the topic). Most things will spark some level of interest that I can’t help but youtube/wiki/t*kt*k-spiral on a topic at least once.
I’m a visual learner, and with my background in Art History, I am adept at recognizing visual references and allusions in pop culture and current media and love finding the connections to past art movements and trends that saturate our extremely visual world!! Working in production has been an incredible field for me to explore my interests, while drawing on my natural strengths and intuitions.
I’ve been on the east coast for 14 years now – and know it’s where I’ll stay – but I am still a Californian. Which mostly means I WILL have opinions about the viability of a Mexican restaurant in any general vicinity. When I’m not assessing the closest taco truck, museums are one of my favorite escapes, and I recently signed up for a French class after a nearly seven year hiatus. I’m captain of my volleyball team and I love riding my bike and lounging in Prospect Park or Brighton Beach with a good book.
I’m experienced across broadcast, social, digital, print, radio, and motion projects. I’ve managed teams of freelance Directors of Photography, Editors, Sound Designers, and colorists. My clients have ranged from Telecom, Food and Beverage, Pharma, and Lifestyle brands. A day in my work life includes note translating, link sharing, budget planning, schedule building, listening to creatives worry and finding solutions where there wasn’t one before.
I look forward to meeting you!
